This seemed to be a hit and I was pretty excited about it! I asked some other parents to help out and volunteer to bring goodies, the kids will eat lunch at school so we only needed items for treats/snacks and a few fun games. We decided on doing the Mummy game where the kids will each take a roll of TP and turn each other into a mummy! I kinda wish someone would do me too lol.. I just asked another mom that I have found that I could be friends with (you should know this is a hard thing to do if you have read my recent blog lol) if I could steal her idea for treat bags... she got this from a Martha Stewart magazine and I think it is so simple and super cute I can't wait to make them I will make a blog as I go when I do so you can find out if they are as easy as they look. We have also purchased a pumpkin for each child in the class and we will hide them on the play ground for a "pumpkin patch" type hunt where each child will find a pumpkin then decorate them.
I saw this silly idea in a magazine and I have been cutting magazines to get ready for it. I also have a bag of fun crafty stuff like glitter and googly eyes and a boa for anyone who wants furry hair glued on theirs. I thought this idea of cutting out eyes and mouths and noses and accessories is such a silly idea and I am pretty much a 4 year old stuck in a grown up body so I hope they love it. I hope that the parents who volunteer to bring treats and drinks bring something fun and festive Halloween-ish to make the party really fun because you can have Capri Sun and Oreos any day but this is a party! That I think sums up the party ideas and I will for sure let you know how it all goes! Wish me luck!
