Sorry I know I said I would post my shopping total today but it doesn't look like it will happen today. I came straight home from the grocery (quickly took a photo to add to the post I will be making) and put the groceries away only to turn around get back in the car and pick up Rylan from school. I then again came back to the house to clean him up and leave again to drive an hour away to check out a place for my best best friend EEEEEEEEEEE
that is my excited noise by the way! I liked it and I hope they do too and everything works out and my "Naner" as we call her at my house gets to come here! After that we ate supper with my mom and my pop at Chimes (I love that place) and just got home in time to get Rylan into a bath and have a story then to bed and here I am lol. On the couch next to my honey watching creepy television shows about true ghost stories (because that is what you do in October....Halloween lol)
I will tell you about some great deals that I took advantage of today and one that I passed up as well that may be great for you. At Winn Dixie today I got shampoo and conditioner for .99 (I've gotten multiple bottles for free in the last few months but I don't have a "stock pile" of this and I felt like at this price it was acceptable to pick up a couple. I had 3 1.00 off coupons for Garnier Fructis and the store had them on sale for 1.99 regularly 3.99 so that was a pretty good deal. One I passed up was dog food I plan on going back to get some to stock up for my donation I plan on making to the local animal shelter. The store has Purina One (I think I will verify tomorrow) for 6.99 (regular price) there is a coupon from I think this weeks Sunday paper for 4.00 off 3lb or larger that puts it at 2.99 well check the front of your store for a flyer (I don't know the name of it off the top of my head) they put out new little flyers pretty often with in store coupons. This weeks coupon had a 2.00 off the same dog food! So you can do what we call "stack" these because one is a store coupon and one is a manufacturer coupon so that makes 3lb bags for .99! Now if you have kitties there is the same cat food in smaller 1lb boxes that are 2.99 and I have "peelies" (that is coupons that come on another product you buy) from a while back for 2.00 off cat or dog food any size so that makes 1lb of cat food for .99 that is a good price but I am hoping for a sale soon so I can get them free! I once bought two boxes for my mawmaw Ruth for only .25 a box of this stuff... now that is my kind of price :) I ran out of time toward the end of my shopping trip as I was too busy texting instead of shopping today lol so in the end I realized it had been a lot longer than I thought since I first entered the store so I rushed through the produce and dairy and freezer sections but I did get everything I wanted I think. I'll give you a detailed run down tomorrow... for now goodnight!
